  International wedding photographer Garrett Nudd discusses three of the keys to a successful wedding photography business: Direction, Affection and Connection.  Professional Bio

Garrett Nudd is a citizen of the world. Formerly based in Orlando, Florida, one of the country’s most competitive markets, Garrett and his wife Joy are proof that success has less to do with where you live and more to do with how you market yourself and the ability to continually exceed client expectations. Recent wedding assignments have taken them to Scotland, Italy, Norway, France, Switzerland, the Bahamas, Anguilla, Jamaica, and many other exciting and exotic locations. Garrett and Joy photograph about 20 weddings each year and countless children, family, and senior sessions.
  In 2007 Garrett and Joy relocated to Chattanooga, Tennessee, where they opened a boutique store-front studio gallery and launched their portrait division, coBBlestone rue.
  Prior to his career in photography, Garrett spent seven years working in marketing and public relations for Southern Adventist University in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Adventist Health System in Winter Park, Florida. There he led out in advertising campaigns, branding studies and focus groups, and served as chief editor and lead features writer for Columns magazine. In Orlando he also began work on his graduate studies at the University of Central Florida.  
  Recently Garrett's print "Lost" was awarded first place in the Portrait Individual category in the WPPI 16x20 Awards of Excellence print competition
  Garrett and Joy’s work has been published in Professional Photographer, Rangefinder, Grace Ormonde Wedding Style, Destination Weddings & Honeymoons, Orlando Leisure, The Orlando Sentinel, The Knot Best of Weddings, Southern Seasons, The Atlantan Brides, Central Florida Bride and more.  
  Garrett and Joy have been married for nine years and they have two daughters, Graycen, age four, and Campbell, born earlier this year. They remain active in their community by supporting a variety of local charities as well as serving as adjunct faculty and guest lecturer at the School of Journalism & Communication at Southern Adventist University. Their boutique studio is located in Chattanooga, Tennessee, with a satellite office in Orlando Florida. They provide education and resources to photographers worldwide.
