Vicki’s business grew from a small basement studio to a 4,000 sq foot gallery with 8 employees in just 3 years. Vicki attributes a large portion of her success to the high profile image she has created for her portrait gallery.

Vicki will help you discover and appeal to your niche market as well as create unique product lines for your studio. She will not only cover great marketing and sales ideas, but will help you in creating a brand for your business. You will also learn great customer service techniques that will exceed your clients’ expectations.

About Vicki and Jed...

Vicki and Jed started V Gallery in the cramped basement of their house at the age of 23. With a focus on artistic portraiture, the business evolved into a 4,000 sq. foot studio with 8 employees in just 3 years. Jed and Vicki work as a team. Vicki focuses on photography and marketing, while Jed is in charge of all the imaging and digital needs of the studio. Jed and Vicki attribute a large portion of their success to the high profile image they have created for their portrait gallery. Vicki has spoken to photographers both nationally and internationally, including South Korea. She has been recognized by Kodak as one of the up and coming photographers in the industry. In 2004, she won the
Illinois High School Seniors’ Choice Award. In 2005, Vicki won the Highest Scoring Print at the Orvieto Fotographia event in Italy as well as the Grand Prize in the portrait category at WPPI.

*A new feature of our monthly program will be the Tech Talk Open Forum that we will host beginning one-half hour BEFORE the main program to introduce new technology, provide Photoshop/Lightroom tips & tricks, talk about workflow and (at least try to) answer any technology questions you have! Join us at 1:15 to get checked in and be a part of this educational session. Our kick-off event in February was attended by over 20 members and received very positive reviews. Join us and check it out for yourself.

Description

Hennepin Technical College, located on Flying Cloud Drive just a couple of minutes south of the Eden Prairie Mall, has been a gracious host to TCPPA for the past few years. They have an exceptional facility with a large, comfortable auditorium for our seminars and a nice cafeteria area for our meals. We appreciate them allowing us to make use of their facility.

Follow the Chaska/Flying Cloud Drive part of the exit ramp (stay to the left)
