"Camp David Workshop: Shoot It. Save it. Sell it." with David Grupa, Dave Johnson and David Jones

Join us for the inaugural Camp David Workshop on Monday, March 29th and spend the day with three PPA Masters of Photography as they take you through all aspects of the portrait session from the beginning to the end. David Grupa, Dave Johnson and David Jones combine their unique talents for this very special event to benefit PPA Charities.

Learn hands-on lighting and posing tips, time-saving Photoshop workflow techniques, along with marketing and sales ideas designed to take control of your life and make money in the process. (Why waste time “fixing it in Photoshop” when you can do it right from the start?!)

Cost - $59.  All proceeds from this event go to support PPA Charities.

"Storybook Wedding Album Design" with Loren Jones

This class will focus on the design of Storybook-style, flushmount wedding albums.  Loren will teach his approach to selecting and compositing images into a visually pleasing book that tells the story of your couple's special day.
 
We will start with the setup of a basic page layout template, then will build an album in a storybook sequence. To participate in this class you need a good understanding of basic Photoshop skills including layers and masking, and a laptop with a fairly recent version of Photoshop installed (CS or later preferred.)
 
Due to the computer-intensive nature of this coures class size will be limited to six (6) participants. You can bring your own images or we will supply images for the class.  Expect to spend 6-8 hours.

Cost: $49   All proceeds will go to PPA Charities

"Social Networking for Photographers" with Jon Wright & Bill Clark

Join Jon Wright and Bill Clark for a workshop on how to utilize the internet to get noticed in this cluttered noisy medium called the internet.  Topics will include how to gain exposure with your web site.  How to use social network sites to help your business. Please bring a laptop as we will help you set up Facebook, Twitter, working with Google and others. 

WiFi is available.  Most of the topics covered will not cost you a cent.  Options will be presented that have minimal cost but that choice will be up to you.    This will help you build your business!

The class will begin promptly at 9:30 AM.

We will break for lunch, then wrap up by 2:30 PM so as you won't compete with rush hour traffic.

"How to Get the Most Out of Your Prints" by Rod Oman.

Join Rod as he helps you with your prints and digital files.  Bring examples of prints and/or digital files Rod could help you.  The class size is limited so sign up early! This class will be held at his studio.

This workshop will run from  9:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
