When I first started on the board as a council-member, one of my goals was to help bring in amazing talent to the TCPPA and help the local affiliate step it up a notch. Speakers started falling into place and soon I was able to cross that one off my list and it all sort of started snowballing from there!! The line-up we have secured for 2008 is exciting for me as president and I hope that you make the time on your schedule to see them all: Thom Rouse, Laura Novack, Victor Sizemore, Cindy Romano, Sarah Johnstone, Scott Robert, David Davis, Beth Forester, Bob and Dawn Davis. Don’t forget the boat cruise in July and the year end banquet in December. A line up really doesn’t get much more exciting than that!!!

I hope that as you rung in the New Year you were able to jot down some goals for yourself! Goals are an important part of running a successful business and can help you kick-start your year! Don’t just write down goals for your business, be sure to take some time to think of goals for your personal life as well! Whether it’s losing that extra 5 pounds you gained over the holidays or starting a new hobby, it’s important and should be written down!

Be sure to look at your goals EVERY DAY!! I post mine on the side of my computer monitor and cross them off with a yellow highlighter as I reach them. It is an incredibly satisfying feeling to cross off completed goals! I challenge each and every one of you to get 10 goals down on paper and posted in a prominent spot that you will look at!

Believe in yourself, set your goals, feel the satisfaction of achieving all of your goals and more!! Have a great year, I look forward to sharing it with you!!! Don’t miss out on an excellent opportunity in 2008.
