Cindy Romano .. Cindy is a devoted, impassioned mother of two children who truly loves what she does. She is driven by the constant quest to capture the true character and personality of everyone of her clients. Constantly searching for new ideas that will enhance her portraiture, she believes that “true creativity is found outside your comfort zone”. Several times each year, Cindy attends seminars and schools with various internationally-known photographers whose work she admires.
Cindy has been in photography since high school and had owned her own studio since 1988. She earned her fellowship degree with Professional Photographers of Northern IL in 1994 and her Certification through professional Photographers of America in 1995. In 2001 she received both her Photographic Craftsman and her Master of Photography degrees at the national convention in
Chicago. She serves on the board with Professional Photographers of Northern IL and in 2004 accepted Program Chairman for this association. Cindy has also had portraits displayed in PPA Magazine and at local, state and national conventions as well as Epcot Center in Orlando. Also, in August of 2001, PPA Magazine published Cindy’s article “Where Have all the Photographers Gone”. Discussing the lack of photographers stepping up to teach Super Monday courses.
In June 2001 Cindy completed the course required to become an Affiliate Judge for PPA.
She has been excepted into the loan collection book in 1996, 1998, 1999, 2003, 2005 & 2006.
Cindy have taught numerous Super Monday Classes on Children’s Photography. She has been invited to speak & Judge at numerous states with programs on Children and Senior Photography. |
